Gyan recalled how he was saved some years back – “I remember my last admission here [Cardio centre] was way back in 1999 so I have some memories about this place”.

“Aside this [the donation] being part of the Star Soccer Fiesta, I enjoy giving back to society and I hope this goes a long way to help face some of the challenges of this unit,” he said.

The delegation later proceeded to the National Reconstructive Plastics Surgery and Burn Centre – as well as the Maternal Unit and Children’s Ward of the hospital where he paid the bills of 29 mothers and also donated rice and noodles from Mama Vits noodles and rice – company owned by him.
