Drama unfolded at Nankese, a suburb of Suhum, on Friday afternoon when a Junior High School BECE candidate was allegedly attacked spiritually, resulting in his inability to write his English Language paper.
Collins Addo, the 15-year-old student of Nankese Presby JHS, reportedly suffered the spiritual attacked when he was given the English language paper to write.
According to reports, it took a pastor’s intervention to deliver Collins Addo from the attack before he could hold his pen to start the exam.
Daily Guide gathered that the moment the invigilator at the centre put the question paper on Collins Addo’s desk, he started crying, prompting the invigilators around to ask why he was shedding tears.
Collins, who couldn’t speak except cry amid shivering, told the teachers around that he couldn’t hold the pen to even shade in the objectives test boxes due to some pains he was experiencing whenever he held his pen.
The invigilators and a police officer at the Centre quickly took the boy out of the examination hall and called a pastor around to offer prayers for him before he was able to hold the pen.
Collins Addo, narrating his ordeal to Daily Guide, said: “My hands were shivering and paining me when I took the pen to write.
“Half of my fingers were weak and all I could feel was pain in my palm up to my wrist.”
The pastor, Okyere Darko, told Daily Guide that the boy was attacked by an evil spirit when he was about to start the paper, adding that by the grace of God, he was delivered when they prayed for him.
