GSE index opens the week lower

The benchmark GSE All-Share index of the Ghana Stock Exchange dipped by 10.39 points on Monday to open the week at 5,286.29 points. Change for the year to date now stands at -49.32 per cent. Shares that changed hands stood at 85,900 shares. Market capitalisation was down marginally at GH�15,180.13 million. On the broader market, there were three negative price changes. Ghana Commercial Bank lost GH�0.02 at GH�0.68, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited went down by GH�0.01 at GH�1.25 and Unilever Ghana shed GH�0.01 at GH�3.43.
