The attention of the management of Ghana Education Service (GES) has been drawn to a publication in the media specifically, Wednesday, 22nd July, 2015, edition of Daily Guide, issue number 167/15, page 6 on the above heading.
We wish to state categorically that GES has not issued any directive to the Regional Directorate of Education to transfer of the said Headmistress.
The Municipal Director of Education has not issued any letter to the Headmistress to that effect. Any other information concerning Mrs. Juliet Angelina Oppong’s transfer which is contrary to what we have put out should be considered false.
The Ministry of Education and GES wish to state our discomfort with some media house’s reportage on this issue which is putting us into disrepute, and issues concerning GES and the Ministry of Education should be cross checked before publications are made.
