Ken Agyepong Questions List of 80 Richest Ghanaians

Even though people have started casting doubts about the recently announced list of 80 richest Ghanaians, with some of the business moguls on the list threatening legal action against the publishers, information reaching The aL-hAJJ has it that acerbic-tongue New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyepong, is seething with anger over his exclusion.

Given that he has publicly proclaimed he is worth more than US$250 million, and having more than 100 houses in Accra plush areas alone, with about 80 plots in prime areas and over 2000 acres of farm lands at Ejura, Tamale and Accra plains and Central region, he could not fathom why his name was not featured in the list of 80 rich Ghanaians.

The self-acclaimed financier of the opposition NPP, this paper gathered, has been complaining bitterly to close friends, associates and family members why despite his wealth, he was not included in the list.

The Assin Dompim born braggart, according to close sources, has also rubbished the report, saying “so far as I was not included in the list that alone should tell you the report is bogus. Who in Ghana doesn’t know about my wealth? Any authentic report on the richest people in Ghana should have my name included, at least, among the first ten.”

Kennedy Ohene Agyepong’s audacious showoff at the least opportunity, as among Ghana’s rich and famous has turned out to be a 'mirage' as he could not make it into the league of the so-called 80 richest people in the country.

The well-known braggart has over the years craftily hoodwinked Ghanaians into believing his financial might was incomparable, and at the least opportunity, points to his amazing wealth.

The self-acclaimed financier of the biggest opposition party's persistent pointing to his exceptional riches among others, has managed to convince many Ghanaians into believing he could be the richest personalities in Ghana today, or could probably, be among the top ten wealthy people.
