The NPP Aspirant for the re-run of six polling stations in the Akwatia Constituency, Dr Kofi Asare has blamed his competitor, Baba Jamal who is also the Deputy Eastern Regional Minister, for all the bloody clashes that arose yesterday ahead of the election.
Speaking to Peace FM on 'Kokrokoo', he said Baba Jamal in his earlier declaration of �Jihad�, had gingered his supporters to inflict wounds on NPP supporters.
As a result of this, there have been many clashes and injuries in the town.
He also blamed the police for not being security conscious, and not being active with their work.
Looking at how security is being handled in the Akwatia Constituency, Dr. Asare has stated that the police will not be relevant if they do not change their attitude on security issues.
