Prez Corps Accident: GJA Prez Goofed Big Time Kwaku Baako

Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper is calling on President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA); Roland Affail Monney to render an unqualified apology to the media fraternity over his comment about the accident of the presidential press corps.

According to Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, his big gaffe on an incident that led to the death of a Ghanaian Times report has hurt the feelings of many journalists.

“Affail Monney goofed big time so he should apologise ahead of time; it is non-negotiable” he stated on Joy FM’s news analysis show, Newfile Saturday.

The GJA President is likely to be impeached if he fails to resign after he said the car crash involving the presidential press corps were just an accident.

Mr. Monney incurred the wrath of the media after claiming there is no wrongdoing in the accident.

This comment Kweku Baako said was “premature and indiscreet” since no formal investigations has been conducted on the matter.

In his view, if the GJA President apologise, it may mitigate the anger people fell about the comment.
