Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew has been nominated for the player of the month award at Swansea City. The 25-year-old will compete for the best player for the month of August following his sparkling performance for the Club. Ayew will battle teammates Bafetimi Gomis and Jefferson Montoro who have all been excellent for the Swans so far in the season. The former Olympique Marsielle star scored a pinpoint header to help his side beat Manchester United 2-1 in a Premier League game on Sunday. The Ghanaian international is currently the second top scorer in the team with 3 goals after four matches, one goal shot of Gomis who has scored 4 goals in all four League matches for Swansea this season. Both players are however occupying the first and second position on the goal scorers� chart in the Barclays Premier League this season.
