The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the AfHF Hockey Africa Cup for Nations will on Saturday, August 22, present certificates of participation to volunteers of the tourney. The ceremony, which is slated for the National Hockey Stadium, is to formally acknowledge the contribution of the volunteers towards the successful organisation of the July 10 to July 18 championship. Magnus Rex Danquah, Chief Executive Officer of the LOC told GNA Sports that supporting groups such as the National Supporters Union (NSU) and the Millennium Supporters Union of Ghana (MISUGHA) will also be officially acknowledged for their roles in the success of the tournament. He entreated all volunteers and the supporters' groups to be punctual for the event which starts at 10h00 GMT. South Africa emerged winners in both the Men and Women's events of the championship.
