Black Meteors Faces Elimination From All-Africa Games After 2-0 Defeat To Nigeria

The Black Meteors of Ghana are on the verge of being eliminated from the 2015 All-Africa Games after losing 2-0 to Nigeria in their second Group game on Wednesday. Malik Jubirs side suffered their first defeat at the Kintele Stadium having drew blank with Senegal in their opening Group game against Senegal last Sunday. Two second half goals by Junior Ajayi Oluwafemi and Kingsley Sokari were enough for Nigerian to secure the three maximum points. Oluwafemi found the breakthrough for the Dream team in the 54th minute having dominated the first 45 minutes of the game. Sokari however got the cushioning for his side 6 minutes from time after shooting past goalkeeper Richard Ofori in post for Ghana. The result could perhaps see Ghana exit the competition at the Group stages. The Black Meteors will hence be counting on Nigeria to post a convincing win over Senegal on Saturday in other to progress to the semi-finals of the competition.
