Ato Forson Files His Nomination Forms

Mr Ato Forson, Deputy Minister of Finance and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam, has filed his National Democratic Congress (NDC) nomination form to seek the mandate of the people for Election 2016. Mr Forson told a forum that as MP he has brought a number of development projects to the constituency and he is of the hope that the constituents would not hesitate to vote for him and President John Dramani Mahama to enable the NDC to continue with the Better Ghana Agenda. �I will continue to fulfill my promise by ensuring that the constituency has its fair share of the national cake if you elect me as your MP for the area,� he said. Mr Light Koomson, the District Chief Executive said the Minister is a saviour in the history of the district, in terms of developments that has been executed during his tenure as the MP for the area. Mr A. K Dodoo, the Constituency NDC Secretary who received the forms and other documents from the MP, told the media that the NDC party has rules and regulations with regard to contesting elections and he is hopeful that Mr Forson and all the members of the party would strictly comply with them in the interest of the party�s victory in the 2016 general election. Mr Kobina Kwansah Chairman of the constituency NDC, said Mr Forson is selfless and patriotic and needs to be retained to bring more development to the area.
