Hearts,Kotoko Stalled Ghana Football - Nana Aba

Suspended ace news anchor of TV3 Network, Nana Aba Anamoah has lashed out at the two most successful premier league teams in the Ghana, Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko, for stalling the development of football in the country.

According to the screen goddess, the two old clubs are quick to point out their achievements over the years but had no resources to build-up their teams, and by extension, contributing negatively to the development of football in Ghana.

“I enjoy football and a fan of Accra Great Olympics but for Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko they have stalled development of football in Ghana. They claim to have won trophies but have no resources to develop their team,” she noted.

Taking her turn on “3650 Live” on Live Fm, Nana Aba Anamoah, who has snatched headlines of some media outlets after being suspended by her employers for photo theft, told host Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) that the Phobians and the Porcupine Warriors have failed to form academies to groom players for the national teams.

“It’s so frustrating to see the oldest club Hearts of Oak without an Academy, moreover the boys are not being paid as compared to some Academy teams like West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) and Dream FC who have these physical structures,” she noted.

She said she had a strong passion for football as it does not require too much intelligence to understand and further revealed Manchester United as her favorite International Club.

The ace broadcaster revealed that she supports the “red devils” because of the humility and non-racist Ryan Giggs and Andy Cole.
