Kuffuor Is Talking Too Much Sarfo Gyamfi

Asante Kotoko president in waiting Sammy Osei Kuffuor has already received bashing from some quarters of the Red Army even before he assumes his post officially. The former Black Stars central defender was quoted to have announced his new position as the Clubs president in an interview on Metro TV. To Sarfo Gyamfi, a former player of Kotoko, Kuffuors announcing himself as the new kid on the block is a clear case of putting the cart before the horse. Nicknamed the Black President, the outspoken former Ghana international mentioned in an interview that his only problem with the president elect was coming out to announce his appointment ahead of Manhyia-his new employers. Kuffuor is talking too much, what if Nana changes his mind of the decision to make him the new head of the club? We dont do that, it is untraditional. I took his number from someone so I can offer him a piece of advice on some of these things, but he refused to pick my call, may be he doesnt know my number. He is a fine gentleman, everybody wants the club to succeed but he should have allowed Nana to officially announce him as the clubs new head, said Gyamfi. Reports from the Garden City of Kumasi indicated that Kuffuor would be unveiled this Friday as the clubs new executive chairman to replace the Paul Adu Gyamfi-led board and Opoku Nti Management team.
