The lead aspirant in the National Democratic Congress�s (NDC) upcoming parliamentary elections in the Ekumfi constituency, Chief Hamilton Nixon Biney, appears to be enjoying massive endorsement and support from the grassroot of the party and some Chiefs in the constituency way ahead of the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP). The affection and support for the young, affable, and hardworking party man (Chief Biney) appears to be swelling up by the day as youth groups within the constituency keeps popping up to pledge their support and allegiance to his course and quest to lead them as their representative in the legislature. A vox populi conducted by this paper in the Ekumfi constituency clearly puts Chief Biney in the lead as some Chiefs and opinion leaders openly declared their support and preference for him as opposed to the incumbent, whom they thought had not performed well or handled the concerns of the people well in terms of development and their livelihood. In a separate interview with Chief Biney, he told this paper that the people of Ekumfi are solidly behind him particularly the youth; because they identify with him more due to his good interpersonal relationship with them and pledged to go all out to ensure that he gets the nod to represent them in Parliament.
