Baba Not Getting Carried Away After Chelsea Debut

Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman is not getting carried away after impressing on his Premier League debut for Chelsea in their 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday.

The 21-year-old who arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer finally got his chance to start for the Blues in his favourite left-back position.

Jose Mourinho was forced to play Baba Rahman following the injury sustained by the stuttering Branislav Ivanovic while on international duty with Serbia.

Rahman, managed to play in a Chelsea back four that managed to keep their first clean sheet in four matches.

His 78% passing rate success further justifies the need for the Ghanaian to be given more playing time with the Blues.

But the former Augsburg man remains modest by insisting he has more to learn to keep improving on his game.

“I think I still need to learn more and I want to improve game after game,” he said.

“We are looking forward to all the games and we just want to keep on winning.

“Everybody is happy and we are hoping things continue to go this way,’ said the ex-Augsburg talent.

“It was a hard game, but the most important thing was to get the win.”
