Ghana Needs A Righteous Revolution - Joyce Aryee

Dr Joyce Aryee, Executive Director of the Salt and Light Ministry, has said Ghana needed a revolution in righteousness, to achieve its transformational agenda.

She said for the righteous revolution to be achieved, there had to be the right heart which would translate into the right thinking and finally the right action.

Dr Aryee made these remarks at the launch of the 100-day countdown to the 10th Edition of the Springboard Road Show in Accra, on the theme: "A Decade Of Transforming Lives."
She commended the organizers of the road show for influencing positively the lives of many Ghanaians.

She said the show had confirmed that leadership could be exhibited by ordinary people operating outside the partisan political space.

Dr Aryee said organizing the road show over a three-month period was very expensive, and urged more companies to sponsor the show to compliment the efforts of government at training and empowering the youth across the country.

Reverend Albert Ocran, Executive Director of the Springboard Road Show Foundation, said next year's road show which would kick-start on January 27 in Sunyani, and the grand finale on March 9 in Takoradi, would showcase the success stories of some of the alumini of the show, many of whom were now occupying influential positions in life.

He said the ultimate goal of the show would be to empower a new crop of emerging leaders and youth in the areas of entrepreneurship, savings and investment culture and emerging technology as economic enablers.

He said there would also be a continuous emphasis on strong values in the quest to raise values-based leaders, committed to building a good society.

He said as the Foundation celebrated its 10th anniversary next year, the focus in the next five years would include building the capacities of the various springboard clubs nationwide, to enable them effectively and flawlessly organize road shows at the district level.

Rev Ocran announced that attendance to the various shows would be free.
