Amputee Football Association Chairman Accused Of Fraud

Information reaching the Sports Crusader has it that the chairman of the Ghana Amputee Football Association (GAFA), is in the grips of the Tesano police for allegedly duping a banker.

Rev Adesah who is now a member of the National Paralympic Committee is said to have allegedly duped one madam Naa Ashami Acquaye to the tune of Ghc 15,000 under the false pretence of travelling with her abroad.

He was said to have be accosted by his victim on Tuesday evening at Abeka Lapaz.

According to a source at the scene, the lady a senior banker spotted Rev. Adesah in traffic at Abeka Lapaz and began to shout thereby drawing a crowd to the scene.

She narrated to the crowd that Rev Adesah had duped her to the tune of Ghc 15,000 under the pretense of travelling with her to abroad years ago.

She stated that she had plans of travelling outside and came into contact with him and but after negotiating with her and receiving a sum total of Ghc 15,000 Rev Adesah absconded till she met him again last Tuesday.

The source told this website that with the support of by standers by the NPC member was arrested and detained at the Tesano Police Station, for onward transfer to the CID Headquarters.
