The Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bugri Naabu is elated over the indefinite suspension of the party's National Chairman Mr. Paul Afoko.
He said in an interview with peacefmonline.com: "Im very happy, the decision is a good one. This is a decision by all of us. Everyone agreed to it. The man should just pack and go".

The Northern regional chairman however believed the decision by the National Executive Council (NEC) was long overdue.
He said Mr. Afoko's actions cannot win power for the party come 2016.
"We need power and Afoko cannot win the elections for us so he should just step aside for the meantime. We are saying he should pack somewhere".
