Judicial Committee Allocate One Week To Each Indicted Judge

The Judicial Committee set up to hear the cases of the indicted High Court judges has dedicated seven weeks to the seven judges indicted in the bribery scandal to appear before it.

From now till December 11, a week each would be allocated to each indicted judge to defend himself or herself and address all the issues leveled against him or her.

Justice John Ajet Nassam, who was supposed to start the proceedings this week, has still not appeared before the Committee.

The Committee earlier in the week issued a directive for Ajet Nassam to appear before it, but information reaching the Committee indicates that he was nowhere to be found.

The Committee has however stated that it would go ahead with the hearing without him.

Meanwhile, Tigereyepi team have since Monday October 19, been appearing before the Committee, represented by three masked ‘Anases'

A separate committee is hearing the cases of the lower court judges.
