The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for New Juabeng, Mark Asibey Yeboah has withdrawn a suit he filed against the Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) at the Supreme Court.
Mr Asibey Yeboah was praying the Court to restrain the ADB from going ahead with its public offering until it receives parliamentary approval.
However, his lawyer, Alex Afenyo Markin on Wednesday withdrew the case on the grounds that the management of ADB had given the assurance that it would engage Parliament to resolve the issues surrounding it’s decision to list on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Thus, the Supreme Court in accordance struck the case but declined to award any cost.
