Credible information from the New Patriotic Party has it that, the party will be going for an Emergency Delegates conference in Sunyani, December 19, 2015 to vote on the impeachment of the battered National Chairman, Paul Awentami Afoko.

The steering Committee meeting, that was held last Friday, approved the proposal from Freddie Blay, the acting National Chairman, who, after the press conference of Paul Afoko, realized the constitutional breach and therefore would want to go by the procedure as stipulated in Article 10 of the Party’s constitution to deny the battered chairman, any opportunity of succeeding at the Law Court.

Last Wednesday, Mr. Afoko clearly indicated the attack on the NPP’s constitution and assured his teaming supporters and officers of the constituency, his intent to fight the matter in court to “protect the NPP Constitution”.
