The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu Ekuful has accused the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) of not being fair to President John Dramani Mahama.

Ursula was speaking to the 4.9 percent NO votes for the President recorded at the just ended primaries of the NDC.

The NDC held its primaries over the weekend and after the exercise, the President polled 1,199,118 ‘Yes’ votes as against 61,836 ‘No’ votes, representing a paltry 4.90% in the Presidential Primaries.

The results represent polls from 265 of a total 275 constituencies.

Speaking to Roland Walker on JOY NEWS AM show, Ursula said the NDC could have just opted for a ‘popular acclamation’ instead of asking members to vote.
