Alan Joins Bawumia, Blay At Funeral

Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen last Saturday joined Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, 2016 Vice Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Islamic funeral of the late Abubakar Saddick who was murdered during the troubles which descended upon the Asawase constituency office of the party recently.

It was a solemn moment when the Islamic clergy prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed; a man who was said to have contributed towards the development of the NPP in the constituency and beyond.

He was associated with the pasting of party posters in the city among other roles. Little wonder his murder attracted widespread empathy for him.

Dr. Bawumia assured the bereaved family of the party’s commitment to take care of the education of the little girl he left behind.

An amount of GH¢17500 was donated by him for the purpose. Of the amount, GH¢7500 was given to the caretaker of the baby, GH¢1000 for the mother of the deceased and another GH¢1000 for his father.

Party Acting Chairman Freddie Blay said that the deceased and the late Adam Mahama both sacrificed their lives for the party. “The party would not forget about this sacrifice,” he said adding that the NPP is back on its feet.
