Be Mindful Of Your Property Adentan Police Commander

Members of public have been advised not to leave their homes and premises unattended to when they attend church services and other social programmes during this Yuletide and New Year.

Chief Superintendent Martin Ayiih, Adentan District Police Commander, said this was important as the ever vigilant thieves were watching movements.

He also called on bar operators to be mindful of the noise levels as noise offenders would be arrested.

Speaking in an interview with the GNA, Chief Superintendent Ayiih said on such festive occasions, trading activities were high in market centres with people rushing to reach their various destinations; and drivers in haste to rake in more revenue.

He said drivers in such times do overwork themselves and reminded them to follow driving regulations and abstain from alcohol when on duty.

Chief Superintendent Ayiih called on drivers to be mindful of pedestrians, who may be reckless on the streets and urged passengers not to put pressure on the drivers to speed.

He called on pedestrians and passengers to report defaulting drivers to the nearest police station.

“If you drink then do so moderately, but if you drive, don’t drink,” Chief Superintendent Ayiih said, adding his best wishes for all during the Yuletide and New Year.
