GWCL Assures Public Of Adequate Water

Management of Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) has given assurance that adequate preparations have been put in place for the continuous supply of water during the Christmas and New Year festivities.

In a statement signed and issued by the Communications Manager of GWCL, Mr. Stanley Martey, and copied to Today yesterday in Accra, management of the company assured the general public that “crisis management teams are in place in all the regions to attend to any crisis as early as practicable.”

The company in the statement noted that the essential services staff members would be at post throughout the period.

It said the call centre will be operational and the master control room with its fault team would continually work for 24 hours daily.

According to the statement, a cross-section of district staff would also be at post throughout the period to attend to customer needs including payment of bills.

The company entreated the general public to call the master control room on 0302 774707 which has a 24 hour Fault Team attached throughout the week on any day with complaints on faults, burst, leakages etc.
