Director of Public Affairs  at the Africa Centre for Security and Counter Terrorism,  Dr. Bosman Asare  has advised Ghanaians not be anxious to know where the Guantanamo detainees have been kept to prevent them from living in fear.

He further explained that residents around where they will be kept can be informed so that they would call on security agencies or raise alarm with the slightest suspicion.

According to him, it is not all security institutions who have to be informed about where the  detainees would be kept, but just some key personalities like; the Interior Minister, Defence Minister , Minister for Foreign Affairs and some key personalities in the various security sectors for security reasons, because it is a very sensitive issue.

In an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show host, Kwame Ajetia, he said Government should be ready to move the suspected terrorists from one place to the other if information about their current residence spreads widely.
