Despite the fact that President John Dramani Mahama has denied the allegation that he and his wife, Lordina Mahama are involved in the DKM microfinance scandal, a member of the opposition NPP in Germany, Mr. Kwadwo Aim is still insisting the first family are neck-deep in the mess.

President John Dramani Mahama has expressed shock over his alleged connection with the Sunyani-based DKM Microfinance Company.

Briefing the press at the Flagstaff House on Tuesday, President John Dramani Mahama stated emphatically that he had never heard of DKM until the company's operations were brought to his notice.

He dismissed reports that the owner of DKM microfinance is linked to the presidency saying neither he nor his wife has any knowledge about the microfinance company or the individuals behind its set up.

"This is the first time I saw in the newspapers the DKM man, a lanky tall chap has links with my wife...she does not know him," he said.

But speaking to Peacefmonline.com, Mr. Kwadwo Anim on behalf of his party branch in Germany without giving evidence is still alleging the President and his wife sat to plan on how to dupe the people of Brong Ahafo.

“President Mahama and his wife know something about the mess of DKM and they also know where the money is; the President cannot say he knows nothing about DKM’s swindles. So we will push the President to vomit those monies together with his wife because he has taken Ghanaians for granted,” he asserted.

He however was of the opinion that President Mahama insulted the people of Brong Ahafo as illiterates to have invested in microfinance with such an outrageous interest promised them by the microfinance companies.
