The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) has urged local businesses to partner Israeli companies in order to ensure the transfer of technology.
At a meeting with the visiting Israeli Deputy Prime Minister, Avigdor Liberman and members of his delegation, Wilson Attah Krofah, President of the GNCCI, said his outfit would offer full co-operation to Israeli investors who would do business in the country.
The Israeli Deputy Prime Minister was in the country on a two-day visit to explore bilateral co-operation with Ghana.
Mr. Krofah, who was recently elected as the Vice President of the Pan-African Chamber of Commerce, assured the Israeli business delegation that the chamber had an open door policy to all legitimate businesses.
He advocated for the promotion and enhancement of both local and foreign businesses, adding, �We consider that as a duty to our country.�
According to him, the Chamber had a continuous and healthy relation with the government.
He reveled that there were tremendous business opportunities in the Agriculture, Information and Communication Technology, Water and Infrastructure sectors of the economy.
�Quality human capital, low cost of labour, stable political and economic environment and government� support for the private sector are some of the advantages that would be available to Israeli investors,� Mr. Krofah added.
