Vodafone Rewards Loyal Customers

Vodafone, the network that works, has held the first draw of its on-going promotion, dubbed, �VODAFONE REWARDS�, which is aimed at showing appreciation to customers for their loyalty and commitment. The draw was held at the Holy Gardens in Accra on Friday, 11th September, 2009. Joe Habib, a staff of Asare Original Pay All at Wa was the grand winner of the first draw and as his prize, drove home with a brand new Mitsubishi 4x4 vehicle. Four people won the second prize of a Yamaha DT 125 Motorcycle each as their prizes; 5 people won Laptop Computers; 300 subscribers won a mobile phone each; 10 people also received a 2-year Educational Scholarship worth GH�1,000 per year; whilst 50 ipod shuffles device was won by 50 lucky winners. In a keynote address before the draw, Major Albert Don-chebe (Rtd), Head of Corporate Communications and Customer Care of Vodafone Ghana said, �Today is the first of the 3 planned draws that have a brand new Mitsubishi 4x4 vehicle at stake. This promotion presents an opportunity for both new and long term Vodafone customers to change their lives with each top-up�. �The top reward in this 3 months promotion will see a Vodafone subscriber winning a 4-Bedroom Trasacco Valley House in Accra together with 12 months free Vodafone land line and broadband (with a fair usage cap and excluding international outbound calls) and 1 Nissan Pajero 4X4 vehicle (provided with a driver for 3 months),� Major Don-Chebe added. Reminding Vodafone subscribers on how to be part of this rewarding promotion, Major Don-Chebe outlined the process thus: Customers who wish to participate in the promotion will have to register by dialing �eleven eleven� (1111) to reach an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) � an automated telephone system. Once registered, for any recharge on prepaid mobile or landline, customers will secure an entry into the draw for every One Ghana Cedi (GHc1). Speaking on phone from Wa, when the MC of the occasion, Fiifi Banson of Peace FM fame called to inform him about the prize, Joe Habib expressed surprise and thanked God for such a wonderful reward from Vodafone. He informed the gathering that he would travel down South the same day to receive the vehicle. �Vodafone has demonstrated to me that they truly reward their subscribers.
