Deputy Minister donates to NDC Muslims

Mr Henry Ford Kamel, Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources on Tuesday appealed to supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to rally behind President J.E.A Mills to advance the development agenda of the country. This we can all do by uniting for a purpose and by contributing our quota devoid of infighting, bickering and unnecessary criticism without useful suggestions. Mr Kamel, who made the appeal when he presented five bags of rice and a bag of sugar to Muslims at the NDC Party Headquarters said the government was getting on track and therefore needed the support of every Ghanaian to achieve its goals. Mr Kamel, also the Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency in the Volta Region, said he had already made similar donations to the Kotokoli and Hausa Muslim communities in his constituency. He urged the Muslims to use the month of Ramadan to express love to friends and neighbours by sharing their meagre resources as was demonstrated by the Prophet Mohammed.
