A 26-year-old student, Queenie Akuffo, who was arrested for using a dildo also known as sex toy, to violently abuse her 22-year-old friend has been charged with the offence of having unnatural canal knowledge of a fellow woman.
At her first appearance at an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Her Honour, Abena Adjin Doku, she was granted bail to the tune of GH40, 000.00 with three sureties.
She is to reappear before the court on February 12,2016.
A dildo is an object having the shape and often the appearance of an erect penis, used in sexual stimulation.
Miss Queenie Akuffo was arrested after it was alleged that she drugged her victim and allegedly used the phallic shaped sex toy, to penetrate the victim’s vagina repeatedly.
Facts Of The Case
The fact of the case as presented to the court by DSP Judith Asante were that, complainant Comfort Sam, mother of the victim (name withheld) lives in the same vicinity with the accused.
According to her, on January 25, 2015 at about 6:00 pm the accused sent the younger sister of the victim who is a witness in the case to call the victim which she obliged.
The accused she said constantly offered Vodka drink to the victim and the victim after taking the drink became intoxicated and accused lured her to the bedroom.
“Thereafter, the accused sacked persons who are witnesses in the case to leave her room and she closed her door. Later one of the witnesses age 13 went to peep through the window of the accused and saw accused using artificial penis to penetrate the vagina of the victim.
The witness quickly informed the complainant’s brother, Nana Sasu, who also informed the victim’s mother. They rushed to the aid of the victim and truly found her lying naked on the accused bedroom with vomits around her.
The prosecutor also told the court that the victim was unconscious and was rushed to the hospital and a report was made.
The police proceeded to arrest the accused and a spot search in her room revealed empty Vodka, Star beer and Origin bottles.
A further search revealed the artificial penis on top of her wardrobe plus a video recording of act on her phone. She admitted the offence in her caution statement.
