Vote Out NDC Mahama To Madina Zongo

The 2016 flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Nasigire Mahama, has urged youth in the Madina Zongo Community to vote the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) out of power in the  upcoming presidential polls since, he justifies, the NDC   has  nothing good to offer them in the future.

He rather calls on them to help galvanize support and campaign vigorously for the PNC to win the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections massively.

Dr. Edward Mahama made the call over the weekend when he paid a courtesy call on the Madina Zongo Community Chief, Alhaji Baba Seidu, at his palace to inform him about his bid to lead the PNC in the 2016 elections and also seek his blessings ahead of the polls.

Present at the palace were about 35 sub-chiefs and Imams who together with Chief Alhaji Baba Seidu gave a rousing welcome to Dr. Edward Mahama and his entourage.

Addressing the gathering of party sympathizers and youth at a short ceremony at the palace, Dr. Mahama told the youth he has a program for them called the “New Force” that will transform their future for the next ten years.

“The youths of 18, 19, and 20 up to 25 and above are the people I’m looking for to work with so that you can plan your life for 10 years from now. If you are a Trotro driver, you will be a transport owner and if you are a taxi driver, you will be controlling a fleet of taxis by the transformation of the ‘New Force’,” he stressed.

He added they shouldn’t waste their previous votes on both the ruling NDC and the opposition NPP since the two parties have nothing good to offer them but only lies.

He urged them to vote for him and the PNC in the 2016 Presidential and parliamentary elections to win massively.

Dr. Mahama lauded Alhaji Baba Seidu for taking the trouble to invite his 35 sub chiefs including Imams to the palace throughout his time of visit to the palace, saying he is overjoyed by the gesture.

He wondered why most people in authority do not recognize themselves as servants to the people but rather considered themselves as masters, saying the owners of Ghana are not presidents but chief labourers referring to the chiefs and the Imams as owners of the state.

This, according to him, he sought to correct as a mistake  by re-organizing the civil and public service whenever given the nod to serve as a President so people can understand that “when you have a job; you are a servant to people”.

He noted he considered the Chiefs and the Imams as owners; that is why he came to pay them a visit to seek their blessings but not to embark on a campaign at the time.

Various party leaders who took turns to address the gathering equally advised the youth to disregard both the ruling NDC and the opposition NPP and strongly throw their weight behind the PNC for victory in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary polls to see Dr. Edward Mahama become the next President of Ghana.
