Dreams FC manager CK Akunnor eyes Black Stars coaching job

Dreams FC manager CK Akunnor has revealed his hopes of coaching the Black Stars in future.
 
Akunnor, former Ghana captain has set sights on the top job after a good start with his Club in the Ghana Premier League.

The former Ghanaian international guided his team (Dreams FC) to secure an important three points after defeating Ebusua Dwarfs away from home last Sunday.

The 41-year-old former Accra Hearts of Oak trainer is relishing dreams of handling the senior National team.

“I have dreams of coaching the Black Stars one day but I know it’s a long shot. But I’m not shying away from it,” Akunnor told Kumasi-based Ultimate FM.

“Whatever it will take for me to reach that dream, I will keep working hard and educating myself until I’m ready for the challenge.”

The former Sekondi Eleven Wise coach played for the Black Stars from 1991 to 2001 and captained the team at the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Ghana and Nigeria.
