Two people died in a road accident which occurred on the Tema -Akosombo Highway Wednesday morning.
The accident involved an Ashaiman-Koforidua bound mini urvan bus with registration number GN 4284-14. The mini bus reportedly veered off the road and summersaulted between Asutsare and Shai Hills on the Tema-Akosombo Highway.
A mechanical fault in the ball joints of the vehicle was said to have caused the accident.
Some of the passengers were said to have earlier complained to the driver that they were hearing an unusual noise under the car.
The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Tema General Hospital Morgue while the injured are also undergoing treatment.
