Ohemaa Mercy Advises Gospel Musicians

Award winning gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy, has sent out advice to her fellow gospel musicians.

In her recent interview on Vibes in 5, she has said that gospel musicians should understand professionalism and the business side of it.

“So far as you go to the studio and pay for a music to come out and also pay money for videos to be aired, then you promote the thesis on radio and TV – that is the business side of it. It is also very important for us to employ professionals to work for us for so to build our brands for us to come out very well,” she said.

Ohemaa also revealed that, she surrounds herself with people who share in her vision and whenever she goes out in terms of her brand, they are so particular about the ministry and spirituality aspect that, she does not find herself in issues or create problems for her image and brand.

The Aseda singer further thinks the reason for gospel musicians not being able to sign on to co-operate endorsement is because of marketing issues and with time things will be seen differently. Her current album is doing very well with her current single Aseda getting massive air play.

“It`s a surprise to me, and I thank God so much at the kind of speed it is moving and the hearts accepting it. I’ve received lots testimonies with the song and I am grateful to God for it,” concluded.
