To this end, the National youth wing of the New Patriotic Party throws its unflinching support for the "BAAMU YADDA" demonstration slated for Kumasi on Wednesday April 6 2016.
We are very certain that given the seeming intransigence of the Charlotte Osei led Electoral Commission demonstrating to bring to the fore the need for a credible and reliable voters register should be non-negotiable to every peace loving Ghanaian.
For a region plagued by numerous conflicts mainly brought about by electoral disputes, the very conduct of Ghana's Electoral Commission raises serious concerns about its readiness to safeguard the peace we relatively enjoy on the continent.
Consequently, we are by this open declaration calling on all Ghanaians particularly the youth of Ghana to join us in Kumasi to register our displeasure against the lukewarm attitude of the electoral commission towards the conduct of free, fair and credible elections come November 7 2016
