To Hell With Woyome...NPP Will Not Shut UP Over His Threats - Karbo

NPP’s Anthony Karbo says his party will not shut up over ‘empty’ threats by businessman Alfred Woyome to sue some individuals commenting on his the Ghc51 judgement debt saga.

Lawyers of the businessman served notice of their preparedness to haul anyone who denigrates their client to court saying Wyome’s acquittal of all wrong doing in relation to the award of a 51.2 million wrongfully paid him by the state in judgment debt must be respected by individuals including the media, whiles bemoaning attempts by some people to tagged their client as a “criminal”

Those cited for labelling Mr Woyome as criminal are, NPP’s deputy communication director, Anthony Karbo, Kwaku Baako Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide and Nana Akomea, communications director of the NPP.

However, Karbo has stated that he will not stop accusing the businessman until the state's money is retrieved - “…We will continue to have this discussion and no amount of court threats from Mr. Woyome can silence any Ghanaian”

“Unfortunately our government has developed cold feet in the fight to recover the money and so we will continue to talk about the money

“…We all know that Woyome didn’t have a contract, we all know it was a fraudulent affair, we all know that the Supreme Court has asked that the money should be given back to the state and these issues that Woyome has raised will certainly not help anything, but will continue to escalate the discussion and the anger that Ghanaians have especially when tax payers money is involved,” he said on Accra based Citi FM.
