Radio / TV Presenter Valentina Nana Afia Agyeiwaa, popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger who has gone silent in the media for some time now, is returning soon.
There were speculations that Afia Schwarzenegger has been shown the exit by Despite Group of Companies. However, Afia is on her way back with her controversial midmorning radio show on Okay101.7FM "Yewo krom", and possibly with her ever popular "Kokooko" satire TV show on UTV.
The "Kokooko" Presenter who used to host Okay FM's "Y3 wo krom" radio show on Thursday morning, February 5, allegedly used derogatory remarks on NPP's Kennedy Agyapong due to a comment the MP made about President John Dramani Mahama's family. Afia decided to respond to the member of Parliament's criticism by slamming him vehemently.
She further called him out to state what really made him wealthy as well as brandishing his OMAN FM station "dead".
This created heated tension between the two, leading to exchange of unprintable words against each other both on social media and in the mainstream media which left management of Despite Group no choice than to take Afia off air to calm tensions down.
According to Peacefmonline.com investigations, both her TV and Radio shows were put on hold to be restructured and repackaged as far as production and presentation is concern and she is now set to return in the coming weeks.
Afia's latest post on her Instagram page further confirms this information, adding that the reason for her absence is because she is on medical vacation.
"Dear Schwaralewas This is to remind you that I am still an employee of Despite group of companies and we are on till 2020...please pay no attention to unemployed haters whose only achievement is talking about me...youra truly is on a medical vacation and we are coming back with a well packaged #yewokrom. #OKAYFM#101.7#".
It is however, not too clear if she is returning both on radio and TV or she is going to do only radio this time around.
