Photos: China�s CPPCC Chairman Visits Jospong Industrial Park
The Chinese government has pledged support towards efforts by Jospong and Zoomlion Group of companies to rid the country of insanitary conditions.
Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), His Excellency Yu Zhengsheng was elated by the progress made so far by the company and stressed that such effort needs to be encouraged.
He made the comments after a tour of the Jospong Industrial Park managed by the Jospong Group of Companies.
Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Edward Doe-Adjaho and Deputy Speaker, Ebo Barton-Odro joined the Chinese leader for the tour.
The mission of the visit was to acquaint themselves with operations of the company and identify opportunities to enhance China-Ghana bilateral and cultural ties.
The Chinese leader who arrived in Accra on Saturday for a four-day state visit is expected to leave the country on Tuesday night.
The Jospong Industrial Park comprises three plants, including a vehicle assembly plant, a motorized tricycle plant, and a plastics manufacturing center.
