Hassan Ayariga’s All People’s Congress (APC) on Friday April 22, secured final certification from the Electoral Commission (EC) to validate the party’s contest in both the Presidential and parliamentary polls come November 7,2016.

The party, thus has become the 25th political party to receive final certification from the Electoral Commission (EC).

Ayariga’s APC was issued a provisional license by the election management body in January this year.

The APC came into force after the 2012 presidential candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Mr Ayariga fell out with the PNC and went to form his APC following his defeat to Dr Edward Mahama in the party’s congress where he claimed he was unfairly treated.
