GPL Round-up: Hearts Pip Hasaacas In Accra, Kotoko Grab Points In Bechem

Accra Hearts of Oak maintain their position at the top of the League table with a 1-0 win over Sekondi Hasaacas at the Accra Sports Stadium. Winger Isaac Mensah struck as early in the 6thminute to grab all three points for the home side.
 
Asante Kotoko recoded their third successive win after recording a 1-0 triumph over Bechem United away from home to move into the top 4 on the League table. Thanks to a wonderful volley from winger Frank Sarfo Gyemfi.

Godfred Saka’s lone goal ensured Aduana Stars maintained their resurgent run in the League with a slim 1-0 victory over New Edubiase at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Dreams FC could not capitalize on home advantage as they were held to a 2-2 stalemate by Liberty Professionals at the Theater of Dreams in Dewu. Lawson Bekui’s brace for Dreams was cancelled by goals from Bernard Arthur and Latif Blessing.

Coach Jimmy Cobblah could not record his first win in charge of Inter-Allies as they shared spoils with defending League Champions Ashanti Gold when the game ended 1-1 at the Tema Park. Fredrick Boateng and Dauda Mohammed were on target for Inter-Allies and Ashanti Gold respectively.

Second place WA All Stars dropped points at home after drawing 1-1 with WAFA. Emmanuel Ocran’s first half strike for WA All Stars was cancelled by WAFA’s new signing Komlana Agbegneidan as both teams split points at the Malik Jabir Park in WA.

Ebusua Dwarfs still lie bottom of the League table with 10 points after drawing goalless with former League Champions Berekum Chelsea.
