Astana attacker Patrick Twumasi earns debut Black stars call-up

Astana attacker Patrick Twumasi has earned himself a call-up for the Black Stars upcoming international friendly against Guinea as well as the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius. GHANA SPORTS Newspaper has reported.
 
The 21-year-old has been inspiring for his Club this season helping them to maintain their position on top of the League table in the Kazakhstani Premier League.

Twumasi who have already represented Ghana at youth level thus earns his debut call-up to the senior national team.

The former Red Bulls Soccer Academy Product have scored twice and made four assists for his side this season.

He was one of the outstanding Ghanaian players in the UEFA Champions League after scoring three goals for his side at the Group stages.

The hard working attacker will be hoping to excel in the two matches in other to secure a permanent place in the Black Stars team.

Ghana will take on Guinea in an international friendly on May 28 in Paris before playing Mauritius an a Cup of Nations qualifier on June 5.
