Photos: Asamoah Gyan Congratulates Coleman For Construction Of Astro Turf
It was all joy and satisfaction when captain for the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, visited the Accra Academy Senior High School to inspect his Astro Turf project which is currently taking shape.
Last year, the skipper of Ghana’s National team promised to transform his former schools’ grass-less surface pitch into an astro turf football field.
To do this, he doled out an amount of $250,000 to Mr. Robert Coleman, the contractor in charge to setup the artificial field for the school.
Before the project commenced, Mr. Robert Coleman visited Turkey to inspect the state of the turf which is being used to build the 3000 square metres astro turf.
So far, work done has convinced the Black Stars skipper that he has invested his money wisely and was briefed the facility would be completed next month. He congratulated Mr. Robert Coleman for a great work done.
