Black Stars Players Reject Alisa Hotel, Opts For Movenpick Hotel

The Ghana Football Association has officially written a letter to the Ministry of Sports indicating the Black Stars refusal to lodge at the Alisa Hotel ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.

The Black Stars were expected to camp at the Alisa Hotel for three days before embarking for the game in Mauritius.

Report reaching Ghanasportsonline.com indicate a letter which was signed by acting General Secretary of GFA Ike Addo have been submitted to the Ministry requesting for the change of hotel from Alisa to the luxurious five-star Movenpick hotel in Accra.

It is however unclear as to what led to the decision of the players to request for a change of environment having pitched camp at the Alisa Hotel in their previous matches.

The Ministry is expected to state their concern over the latest request from the team.

Coach Avram Grant’s side are expected to depart for Mauritius on Wednesday.

A draw against the Southern African country will certainly confirm Ghana’s participating at next year’s Cup of Nations in Gabon.
