Ghana’s skipper Asamoah Gyan has added his words of comfort to the legion of sympathies that keep pouring in from Ghanaians to support President Mahama in his dark hour.

The President is currently mourning the death of his mother, Abiba Nnaba who was reported to have kicked the bucket yesterday.

Asamoah Gyan posted a tweet which read : Game day my heartfelt condolence to the President @JDMahama, the family n Ghana on the death of “Mami”..mothers cannot be replaced...(sic)

In a related development, President John Dramani Mahama has suspended his “Accounting to the People” tour of the Greater Accra region following the death of his mother, Abiba Nnaba. The President will be flying to Damango in the Northern Region for the burial of his mother today.
