They share different political ideologies but the differences hasn't stopped the Ashanti Regional Chairman from offering words of comfort to President Mahama as he mourns his late mum.

Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako tells Peacefmonline.com that he prays God almighty grants President Mahama the strength he needs at this moment to support his family at this crucial moment. He reminded him to stay strong and rely on God as his comforter as he mourns his late mum.

“I wish to state my sincere condolence and sympathy to President John Mahama on the death of his mother. I was unfortunate to lose mine at a tender age but I want to tell the president to take heart”, he sadly said.  

The President’s mother, Madam Abiba Nnaba Mahama is reported to have died at the SSNIT Hospital in Accra on Tuesday after battling with some illness.
