Former President John Kufuor and the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party are set to address the first ever ‘Freedom Forum’ on the African continent in Accra.
The forum, which is being organised by the National Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party, will begin fromWednesday, June 22 to Friday, 24th June.
The forum, which will be under the theme ‘The Right Leadership for the New Africa’, will focus on discussions bothering on youth development and the improvement of Ghana’s democratic governance.
Other speakers include; (i) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NPP vice Presidential Candidate (ii) Hon. Dominic Nitiwul, M.P for Bimbila and Deputy Minority Leader (iii) Hon Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, M.P. for Ablekuma West (iv) Mr. Sydney Casely Hayford, a financial analyst and founding member of Occupy Ghana and a host of other renowned personalities.
The International Young Democrat Union (IYDU) is a global alliance of centre-right political youth organisations united by a common desire for greater freedom and less government.
