YEA Deputy CEO Declares Zero Tolerance For Corruption

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Luke Ayamga Atazona says the organisation will no longer tolerate any corrupt activity by any employee.

He says the former Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA) is recovering from their tarnished image.

Mr. Atazona said this when he toured offices of YEA in the various districts in the Upper East Region.

In his interaction with Community Police Officers in the Talensi and Nabdam Districts, Mr. Atazona charged them to be disciplined and carry out their mandate professionally to help the Ghana Police Service combat crime in the districts.

He further advised them to continue to maintain law and order.

He further pledged that his outfit will supply the Community Police Assistants with raincoats, boots, uniforms, bicycles and other incentives to facilitate their work.

Mr. Atazona also took his familiarisation tour to the Kassena- Nankana West District and promised to revitalize the New Vision Consult, a company which is into shea butter processing.

The shea butter processing centre cited in Nakolo, a village under the Kassena- Nankana West District, collapsed in 2014 due to management challenges; hence rendering the youth unemployed.

He said the obsolete machines will be replaced by new ones to support the shea butter processing factory in the district.
