Farouk Aliu Mahama Dedicates Award To Late Dad

Farouk Aliu Mahama, son of the Late Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, who recently graduated from the Coventry University says he dedicates the award to his late dad.

Farouk Mahama speaking to North Star news from the United Kingdom after receiving the award disclosed that "it would have been of great joy if his dad was alive to witness the ceremony", but nonetheless dedicates it to him for his inspiration and the discipline he inculcated in him that has gotten him this far.

Mr. Mahama was in the company of his wife Mrs Farouk Aliu Mahama, their son Maltiti Ali and some family members based in London.

The brilliant young man graduated from the UK-based university with a Supply Chain Management Degree on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016.

It was a sober moment for Farouk who felt humbled after putting in tremendous efforts to achieve this feat.

Mr. Mahama who works with the Ghana Cocoa Board says this new qualification will greatly add to his performance at work.

My qualification is related to what I do at work and I will now have the opportunity to blend theory with practice,” he told Tamale based North Star Fm.

The son of the late Vice President of Ghana also extended his appreciation to his mother, Hajia Ramatu Mahama and all those who in one way or the other contributed to his success this far.

Meanwhile, the Acting Managing Director of North Star Fm, Haruna Abubakari Sadiq on behalf of the entire staff of the station congratulates Mr. Mahama on his award.
