Arsenal flattered to deceive once again but Arsene Wenger finally lost his patience with accusations he's not spending enough money to improve the team.
After a clean sheet against the reigning Premier League champions, Wenger felt satisfied until travelling Arsenal fans demanded again that he get the chequebook out.
And questioned about it afterwards, the country's longest-serving manager snapped at the obsession with buying big for the sake of it.
